CT Primary has been rescheduled to June 2, 2020

This is the time to make sure you are registered.

If you have recently moved,  haven’t voted for awhile or are just curious you can check your registration at https://portaldir.ct.gov/sots/LookUp.aspx

If aren’t registered, you can register on line at  https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do to vote in the primary on June 2nd you must register on line by April 28, 2020. 
 
SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
You may use the Online system to (1) register to vote in Connecticut, (2) change your name and/or address on your current registration record, or (3) enroll in a political party or change party enrollment (changing parties may result in losing rights in all parties for three months).
If you move you must re-register to vote in your new town of residence.  You can also use this form to change your address if you move within your current town of residence.

-You should receive confirmation within 3 weeks. If you do not, contact the Registrar of Voters in your town.

-You are not a voter until your application is approved by Registrar of Voters.

-You can wait to register on Election Day, but must register at your designated Election Day Registration location, beginning at 6 am and ending at 8 pm.   Please plan to arrive early in the day as there may be long lines. You must be registered by 8 pm in order to vote. You will need to provide proof of identity and residency.
