If aren’t registered, you can register on line at https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do to vote in the primary on June 2nd you must register on line by April 28, 2020. SOME IMPORTANT INFORMATION: You may use the Online system to (1) register to vote in Connecticut, (2) change your name and/or address on your current registration record, or (3) enroll in a political party or change party enrollment (changing parties may result in losing rights in all parties for three months).
If you move you must re-register to vote in your new
town of residence. You can also use this form to change your address if
you move within your current town of residence.
-You should receive confirmation
within 3 weeks. If you do not, contact the Registrar of Voters in your town.
-You are not a voter until your
application is approved by Registrar of Voters.
-You can wait to register on Election Day, but must
register at your designated Election Day Registration location, beginning at 6
am and ending at 8 pm. Please plan
to arrive early in the day as there may be long lines. You must be registered
by 8 pm in order to vote. You will need to provide proof of identity and
residency.
